Presbyterian Men's News
The Presbyterian Men of FPC continue to engage in the ministry of Jesus Christ and the mission of the First Presbyterian Church as we grow in Faith, serve with Hope, and share God's Love. Our emphasis is on homeless veterans. To raise funds for the homeless veteran we set up booths at area festivals. We also get the town of Franklin to proclaim the second week in September as " Help Homeless Veterans week". We placed 72 collection containers in area businesses, and we have been very successful with this program by raising over $2,000.00 in a week. With the support of our church members, our community, local businesses, and visitors, we were able to make a donation of $9000.00 to ABCCM, (Asheville Buncombe Community Christian Ministry) for the year of 2022.

Come Join the Men's Group
We glorify God thru Christian fellowship and our annual fund raiser for homeless veterans is the hallmark of who we are and what we do. In addition to this effort we do a lot of things year round that you will find fun and interesting. All our activities are voluntary and take into account that you may have a busy life and don’t want to be tied down to a constant responsibility. Participation is totally up to you depending on your schedule. Our members "plug in” to help where they can. We would like to invite any of our men to join our group.
