A Message From Pastor Tempe',
Sorry for the delay in sending out this Sunday’s bulletin and news.
This Sunday is our Hanging of the Greens, a procession of Poinsettias and Greens to herald the approach of Christmas. It is still the Season of Advent and we will be talking about how time is not in our control, yet it is a gift of God.
The Browders are lighting our first candle of Advent.
Jim McInnes is our Lay reader.
This week-end’s blog, ”Raptured”, looks at all the confusing terms of the end times and their relevance to her and now. It can be viewed on our Facebook page and with a link on our website https://www.fpcwnc.org.
Doris Munday is leading our first Sunday School class of Advent (9:00 in Fellowship Hall)
This week Gail Lehman and Tempe’ will be headed to Guatemala and Royce Browder will be preaching on the 4th of December. There will be no video blog for the next two weeks while Tempe' is out of the country.
Thanks to all who helped with our Thanksgiving Drive-Through. We served more meals than ever: 637 meals!
